Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all! This should only be a rare occurrence in hot states during summer- but melting won’t impact the efficacy of the lip balm. Open lid of balm slowly if melting is a concern- if it’s liquid upon arrival, place upright in fridge to solidify.

  • Our lip balm is made by slow-steeping dried herbs in nourishing oils for four hours, then straining out the herbs. It’s normal for some aspects of the herbs to remain in the oil after straining. This is not a defect- it’s a normal part of the handmade process and won’t impact how well the product works.

  • For best results, we suggest using your lip balm within 6-12 months of purchase.
